Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio has exchanged views on a number of topics with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov among them efforts to achieve stability in Libya, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry. The two sides have stressed the need to coordinate efforts in the Libyan peace process, in line with the main role of the United Nations. They also agreed to stay focused on strengthening dialogue between the Libyan parties and to take in to account the interests of Libya's neighbours and other countries in the region.
