Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said that he will pursue legal means to challenge the public participation conducted against his impeachment motion. Gachagua termed the public participation as ‘shoddy’ saying it was not conducted within the law. Gachagua said that the public participation was done with legal jargon that may not be conversant with many Kenyans. “An attempt to do a public participation in a very shoddy exercise that was done. “My lawyers will be vigorously challenging that public participation because it does not meet the threshold of public participation as expounded by the Supreme Court of Kenya,” he said.
