When my bike mechanic told me the part fit my dad’s bike - now my bike - I sobbed. After a few turns, I was treated to a feast of fall foliage and my ride took me to Quiet Waters Park. We arrived some 15 hours later to our place by the University of Arizona, a 10-minute bike ride from the starting line. Like many times before, I read his account of the 2003 Tucson ride. It feels fitting to end the way he would: Paul Wolfe’s stats from his last Tucson ride and mine from November.
