THIS Hari Raya, 47-year-old apartment cleaner Fazilah Koyapa will be washing the family’s festive clothing in a brand new washing machine. “I never expected that shopping at the Ramadan bazaar in Komtar, would win me a new washing machine. “With lots of new clothes bought for Hari Raya, the washing machine came just in time to ease my burden of cleaning them,” she said. Present to hand out the prizes during the recent ceremony was PDC Setia Urus chief executive officer Datuk Ang Choo Hong. The Ramadan bazaar, held in collaboration with Penang Souq Ramadan 2019, ends today.
