The amount of debt might look high, but in terms of debt equity ratios and various coverage ratios, it remains a very strong company. All these steps will contribute and I do not think debt is really an issue in terms of coverage ratio. These stocks have done well and I think their earnings also are likely to continue to be good. There is no point hiding in the high priced consumer staples stocks either. Wherever you see earnings visibility, like IT or even the HP, BPCLs which are actually quite inexpensive stocks, are the safer places to be.
