According to him, the current economic crisis requires Members of the house to be productive hence the need for them to come to the house daily. “The member of parliament calling for work in just two days in a week, Mr. Speaker, that is a very apocalyptic declaration. Member of Parliament for Asuogyaman Constituency in the Eastern Region, Thomas Nyarko Ampem, had called on Parliament to consider members of parliament to work twice a week instead of the current four days. We can stay for six hours a day instead of coming for two hours and we go back.
