President William Ruto has condemned the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump. Ruto, in a statement, termed the assassination attempt as a heinous act. "I extend my deepest sympathies to President Trump, his family, and the families of the victims of this shocking, heinous act," he said. President Ruto's remarks come about two days after Trump survived an assassination attempt during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday. A male attacker was shot and killed by a member of the Secret Service after the assassination attempt on Trump at the event.
