While the new commercial (shown below) features Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as well, it also includes some brief footage of Final Fantasy VII. That said, the fact we are getting Final Fantasy VII on the Switch and Xbox One is already weird but obviously welcome nonetheless. The especially good news is that Final Fantasy VII is not the only classic Final Fantasy game coming to the Switch, as we also have Final Fantasy IX, X and X-2 as well as XII to look forward to. In the meantime, it looks like Final Fantasy VII is coming to the Switch sooner than I expected and that definitely makes me happy. Though, I hope we get to see Final Fantasy VI released on the Switch at some point in the future as well.
