MANILA, Philippines — Voters who wish to register have until Monday to do so, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said. The Comelec said it expected an influx of last-minute registrants as its two-month-long registration period ends even as Congress is set to postpone the village and youth polls. ADVERTISEMENT“The Comelec has anticipated this and we are confident that our employees in the field are prepared to handle the last-day registration scenario,” Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez said in a statement. 10549, if there is still a queue by the end of the registration period, the poll body will list down the names of those individuals within a 30-meter radius of the election office by 3 p.m. on Monday. The registration period started on Aug. 1.
