The chairman of a village hall committee has thanked people who came to enjoy its fete in beautiful sunshine. Shelfanger Grand Village Fete welcomed hundreds of people to the village hall in Common Road to enjoy face painting, music, welly wanging and entertainment. On the village hall and social club’s Facebook page, he said: “A massive thank you to all who helped make our grand village fete a success. “Thanks to our stallholders and, of course, to everyone who turned up to enjoy the day and supported our lovely village hall. “We look forward to seeing you throughout the year and at our 2025 grand village fete.”
