There are few things as momentous and earth-shattering as a celebrity baby announcement (okay, maybe a celebrity restraining order!). In a statement to People, the couple’s representative confirmed the news: “This morning, Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. RelatedClooney discussed the prospect of having children in February on Rencontres de Cinéma: “We are really happy and really excited. We’ve sort of embraced it all … with arms wide open.”It has yet to be confirmed if Scott Stapp will be the godfather.
