The brutality of Israel’s police at the funeral of the respected Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh makes me feel ashamed and sick as a Jew who has always defended Israel’s right to exist. Palestinian authorities have described Abu Akleh’s killing as an assassination by Israeli forces.
