Police officers were deployed to Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa on Wednesday, after a 29-year-old Israeli Arab who was fatally shot was admitted to the hospital. A man who was lightly injured in the same incident was also admitted to the hospital. Rambam said it was the second time this week in which police forces were deployed for fear of a violent incident developing. Nineteen people were arrested in the brawl outside Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva last week, in what the mayor said was evidence that "the State of Israel has lost control." Now, our job isn’t to take our foot off the gas pedal but to step on it harder than ever," he said.
