The United Nations has warned Israel is heading 'towards a full-scale war' as the air force continued pounding the Gaza Strip this morning in retaliation for hundreds of rockets launched by Hamas. A significant barrage had begun by 3am, with Israel firing into the Gaza Strip. One of the three women was in her 60s and another in her 80s, and died during Hamas rocket attacks earlier on Tuesday.
