After years of protracted negotiations, Israel and Turkey have finally settled the Havi Marmara incident, which was initiated by a Turkish Islamist organization. Those who have even a vague sense of the significance of the security/intelligence relations between Israel and Turkey can appreciate the importance of their restoration. Al Sisi should not feel, that Israel introduces Turkey into a position of dominance in Gaza. Still, this is my opinion, not being a Netanyahu fan, that the Israeli leader scored a victory by points. The main Turkish demand, for Israel to lift the restrictions on free navigation to Gaza, what is erroneously called the siege on Gaza, was flatly rejected.
