Research by Cable.co.uk has ranked Israel top country in the provision of cheap internet bundles. The research conducted by Cable.co.uk gathered and analysed data from 6,148 mobile data plans between December 8, 2020, and February 25, 2021. Even as Israel topped the list of mobile data speeds and costs, Equatorial Guinea was ranked as the most costly nation in providing internet data bundles. According to the study, the most luxurious country to purchase mobile data is Equatorial Guinea, where the normal cost of 1GB is KSh 5,000, which is a thousand times the cost of mobile data in Israel. Asian countries make up over a quarter of the top 20 cheapest countries for mobile data, with Bangladesh (KSh 36) and Sri Lanka (KSh 40) in the top ten.
