As Israel pounds Gaza with bombs that have already killed more than 20,000 men, women and children, Christian evangelicals believe that this war is setting the stage for the End Times. Over the years many have taken to predicting the End of Times. Religious leaders, writers, filmmakers, televangelists, have all offered their version of the End Times. Humans have been beating the drum about the End Times, since perhaps the beginning of time. Believing in the End Times, Armageddon, and The Rapture is not just cocktail party talk or Sunday morning sermonizing of megachurch pastors manipulating their flock; it’s the real deal for millions of evangelical Christians.
