Israel has failed in its plots to instigate a “regime change” in Iran by launching a joint aggression with the United States against the country, a report by the New York Times shows. The report, published on Sunday, said the Israeli regime officials had thought that by persuading the US to launch a war on Iran, they could instigate large protests and riots that could lead to the collapse of the government. “The belief that Israel and the United States could help instigate widespread revolt was a foundational flaw in the preparations for a war that has spread across the Middle East,” the Times said in its report. Meanwhile the response from Iran's IRGC Aerospace Force to Trump's 48-hour ultimatum to Iran to open its Strait of Hormuz, on an Iranian missile. The NY Times report said US officials have largely abandoned speaking publicly about the prospects of a revolt inside Iran despite the fact that Benjamin Netanyahu is still dreaming that the US-Israeli aerial offensive will be aided by forces on the ground.
