The Delta variant is being blamed for the rise in infections in India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. In a separate briefing, One Hospital Command Center chief Dr. Bernadett Velasco said hospitals across the country are prepared to handle Delta variant cases. "Halos mga Pilipino lang pong umuuwi, mga OFWs at mga Overseas Filipinos na umuuwi ang pinapapasok natin. We do not allow any foreigners into our country, except those with a long-term investors visa or long-term residence visa)," Roque said.
