HANGZHOU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday involved the BRICS-Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa-as part of India's diplomatic efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of Pakistan-based terrorism. India and China should understand each other's aspirations and concerns for better ties, he said. "China is willing to work with India to maintain their hard-won sound relations and further advance their cooperation," Xi said.Speaking at a meeting of BRICS leaders in the Chinese lake city of Hangzhou, Modi called for efforts to "isolate supporters and sponsors of terror". He asked world leaders to curb the supply of funds and weapons to terrorists. "Use of social media to promote radical ideology is "growing dimension of this threat", he said.
