PUTRAJAYA: The government will be easing several more restrictions under the movement control order (MCO), including allowing small businesses and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to resume business, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. The Senior Minister said this following the decision to allow big corporations to operate at full capacity under phase four of the MCO. “Among the relaxation of rules will be to allow small businesses to operate. We will announce this along with a standard operating procedure (SOP) soon, ” he said in his daily press conference yesterday.Since the MCO was enforced on March 18, small businesses and SMEs have remained closed. “Maybe, it is better for one person to wait in the car to avoid overcrowding and long queues, ” he said.
