Britain's first socially-distanced festival is set to go ahead on its original dates in August with strict coronavirus safety measures in place. Festival-goers will be able to pre-book their own small patch of grass at Great Wonderfest this summer, despite most UK festivals being postponed until 2021. The festival in the Isle of Wight claims it will 'break new ground with an innovative safe and spacious' weekend event with on-sight camping. Great Wonderfest in the Isle of Wight is the first UK festival to be announced as going ahead this summer with special social-distancing measures in place. Great Wonderfest unveiled a series of new measures which it argues will protect revellers from Covid-19.
