Mahmud Hossain Opu/Dhaka TribuneHoly Shab-e-Barat will be observed across Bangladesh on the night of April 9Islamic Foundation has urged all Muslims to offer prayers on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat at their respective homes to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The request was made in a press release signed by Anis Mahmud, director general of Islamic Foundation. The foundation requested people obey the guidelines of WHO and the directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to ensure the safety of citizens in the coronavirus outbreak. Holy Shab-e-Barat will be observed across Bangladesh on the night of April 9 (Thursday). Thousands of Muslims often stay at mosques overnight to offer special prayers.
