Isis claim responsibility for fatal Pakistan shrine explosion

A bomb exploded at a shrine in Pakistan, killing dozens of people and injuring scores more, officials said. Abdur Rasool, an official at the province’s home ministry, says rescuers transported over 100 wounded and 45 bodies to hospitals. The relief operation was hindered by the isolated location of the shrine in an impoverished corner of Pakistan’s least developed province. About 20 ambulances dispatched from nearby districts took almost two hours to reach the scene, a local government official said. Last month more than 50 people died in an attack on a police academy in the same city.
