A Staff ReporterIshan PorelCalcutta: Ishan Porel sustained a foot injury during India's opening match of the ongoing U-19 World Cup against Australia at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Sunday. According to a source, Porel is taking painkillers and will be undergoing an MRI on Monday that will determine how serious the injury is. He has been taking painkillers, but it's the MRI that will ascertain how serious the injury is," the source said late on Sunday evening. The good thing is that there's no inflammation as yet on the injured part of Porel's left foot. "If it's a really serious one, then Ishan may not be able to return before the knockout stage," the source added.
