The Chosen One is by Savabeel from handy racemare The Glitzy One, a daughter of The Jewel. The Chosen One has a massive chance of gaining redemption for his breeders, The Dennis brothers. The Chosen One was a strong maiden winner, then proved himself over 1600m by winning last month's listed Zacinto Stakes at Riccarton. An offer was made for The Chosen One after the Zacinto Stakes, but the syndicate has elected not to sell the smart youngster for now.
