Volkswagen is looking to streamline its portfolio of companies post the diesel emissions scandal that rocked the company two years ago. Volkswagen is starting to get its act together again but it will take substantial effort to take the company back to its position before the scandal happened. VW will also need to raise funds and streamline its portfolio and that is where selling of Ducati comes into play. Companies that might be interested in buying Ducati are Chinese groups, Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp or other investors.
