Back in 2009, I wrote a book titled The 100 Sporting Events You Must See Live. With each event, I share a brief history and provide all the background information to make a truly memorable journey to any one of the 100 listed sporting events. If this year has taught us anything, the men’s Final Four has proven to be the epitome of a great sports experience. The Oregon Ducks made their last Final Four appearance during the first-ever Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament…in 1939. Former Senator Bill Bradley, a Princeton alum and 1965 MVP of the Final Four, put it best when he described the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
