The Times has ranked the "Best Places to Live 2025" but this year’s rankings have taken a unique turn. Categories such as crime rates, Ofsted reports, GP satisfaction, and Green Flag parks have been used to calculate Britain’s best place to call home. Other regions in the South West, East Devon ranked 17th best place in the UK with a crime rate of 53 per cent. The best place to live in the UK was Richmond, regional winners were Cheltenham, Ribble Valley, Mole Valley, Warwick and Gateshead.
