The femur in particular was the most significant factor in the researcher’s claim that S. tchadensis was bipedal. In summary, the ulnae of S. tchadensis exhibit a combination of traits commonly seen in apes engaged in habitual arboreal activities. Is S. tchadensis the first bipedal human ancestor? The first bipedal animals were created on day five (birds), and the bipedal kangaroo kind on day six.
