The biggest scientific breakthrough since the invention of Covid vaccines in record time are anti-covid pills, made by Merck and Pfizer. Together with vaccines, these pills will be a game changer. But the Centre needs to act fast in getting into contracts with Indian manufacturers who have been licensed to make the drugs.
