On Monday Germany reported 219 Covid cases within 24 hours, and eight deaths. Germany is set to lift its pandemic travel warning for most countries from July 1st. Politicians, including Chancellor Angela Merkel, have spoken out about the race to vaccinate people before the Delta variant spreads widely in Germany.
