Out of the 42 Lok Sabha seats, exit polls are giving 11 to 16 seats to BJP, as compared with only 2 seats won in the 2014 election. According to most projections, number of seats won by of Trinamool, Congress and Left Front will go down. Currently, Trinamool has 34 seats, Congress 4, and the Communist Party of India has 2. The share of BJP votes is projected to increase from 17% to 32%, while the support for Trinamool seems to have remained intact.
