A Delhi family recently landed in trouble at the Delhi airport when one of them, apparently irritated by frisking, uttered the word ‘bomb’ . The woman passenger was detained by security personnel and questioned for hours before she was allowed to continue her journey. Sources at the airport said that the woman shouted at the staff, saying “Check kar lo, mere paas koi bomb thode he hai” (Check me, I am not carrying a bomb’). ‘Security of airport is of utmost important and such instances are treated as possible threat. The security personnel has to be confident that passenger is not a threat to other passengers,” the officer added.
