Irish weather: Temperatures set to drop this week as sunny spells and showers forecast

Met Éireann forecasts a fresh and breezy day today with widespread showers becoming more scattered into the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees are expected today before dropping to lows of 0 to 4 degrees overnight. Temperatures will sit at around 8 to 11 degrees before hitting lows of 8 to 11 degrees overnight. Thursday will again be cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle breaking sunny spells while rain looks likely to extend into Friday, turning colder over Ulster.
