The family of an Irish woman who had fought a legal battle to have an Irish language message on her headstone in a UK cemetery finally had it put in place before St Patrick’s Day. On social media on Wednesday, the family said it was a “poignant end” to their campaign. “On this St Patrick’s Day sees mums headstone finally installed, today may mum finally rest in eternal peace,” read a tweet on the Message for Margaret account.
