In January we paid Irish Ferries £486 for a return trip to Dublin from Holyhead, for a holiday on the west coast of Ireland in June. We contacted Irish Ferries for a full refund under the terms of the cancellable ticket. CS, WirralYou had a right to a full refund, so it is distressing that Irish Ferries treated you the way it did. After we approached Irish Ferries, its head of customer services rang you with a “fulsome” apology and you have now been refunded in full. You are lifelong readers of the Guardian – as well as regular customers of Irish Ferries.
