The company behind the Irish Fairy Door brand has moved to a new licensing model, with the shift contributing to a loss of €422,011 last year. Irish Fairy Door Company director Niamh Barry confirmed on Thursday that the business had agreed the new licensing deal with Dublin-based Allied Imports. Sales of the company’s core product, the Irish Fairy Door, comprise 40 per cent of the company’s revenues. The Irish Fairy Door Company, which was established in 2014, had a shareholders’ deficit of €1.4 million at the end of last year.
