Ireland had the highest percentage of people who increased exercise in the midst of social distancing rules, followed by Singapore. In Ireland, one third of people admitted they took less exercise during lockdown but 36pc increased physical activity. In Ireland one in 10 people admitted to no physical activity at all during lockdown. Nearly 30pc carried out moderate physical activity and just over 45pc had high physical activity. The results revealed the proportion of insufficient physical activity during lockdown ranged from 21pc in Bulgaria to 25pc in Ireland and 39pc in the US.
