Ireland pushes for investment from India

The Hindu spoke to Tanaz Buhariwalla, the director of India for the country’s inward investment promotion agency, IDA Ireland about the opportunities, particularly in the wake of the United Kingdom’s move to leave the EU. How is Indian investment changing? We are definitely seeing Indian companies - including medium to large companies - discussing Brexit strategies and IDA have been talking to many of them. We now have a fairly decent base of Indian companies, which is an advantage: until recently, we had other multinational companies but Indian companies lacked the comfort that there were others - now we are able to offer the full package. It adds to the Make in India idea: make in India, added value in Ireland.
