Ireland will play pool stage games in Sydney, Perth, and Melbourne at next year's Rugby World Cup in Australia. Andy Farrell's side will open their campaign by facing Portugal in Sydney on October 4 at the Sydney Football Stadium. Six days later, in what is likely to be the decisive fixture of the pool stage for Ireland, they will play Scotland at Perth Stadium. Ireland will round out their pool stage games against Uruguay in Melbourne on October 17 at the Docklands Stadium.
