Emil Frederiksen’s goal on the half hour proved the difference in Marbella but Jim Crawford’s side were fortunate not to lose by more given the dominance in possession and chances of the Danes. After beating Australia’s U-23s on Wednesday, it was disappointing that Crawford’s side failed to trouble AC Milan goalkeeper Andreas Jungdal over the 90 minutes. Instead, the Scandinavians squandered chances to extend their lead in the second half, Frederiksen off-target from a couple of chances and substitute Frederick Winther heading straight at Rose eight minutes from full-time.
