Climate change is the next major topic on the agenda for the Citizens' Assembly. The report brings home the reality of the impacts of climate change on people’s lives today. This weekend marks an incredibly important moment in Ireland’s response to the significant impacts of climate change both in Ireland and globally. There is little doubt that Ireland will experience more frequent and intense extreme weather events in the future. Trócaire’s report recommends the following actions:• Ensure ambitious and fair mitigation and adaptation planning in line with the science.
