Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago was on Friday heckled as his motorcade snaked through the streets of Eldoret. His appearance in the town a day after he was released on bond in Finland and Canada Education programme case by a Nakuru court coincided with the closure of the devolution conference in the town. As the shouting grew louder, the senator made a hand gesture and then got back into the car. The funds were contributed by parents for the footing of tuition fees for their children's study in Finland and Canada. Senior Principal Magistrate Peter Ndege ordered them not to interfere with witnesses and appear in court in person whenever summoned.
