This is after the Supreme Court on Friday overturned a Court of Appeal ruling which had freed them. The suspects had been freed by the Court of Appeal on second appeal, but were later arrested after the government moved to the Supreme Court. He urged the court to allow the appeal and quash the acquittal of the suspects by the Court of Appeal. A Nairobi court sentenced them to life imprisonment which was reduced to 15-years after an appeal at the High Court.
