Qatar Airways' Doha-Bali nonstop flight is almost 10 hours long while Chennai is midway.After offloading the Iranian couple and their child in Chennai, the Boeing 777 operating Qatar Airways' flight QR 962 resumed its journey to Denpasar Bali. They had to take a circuitous route back home by first flying to Malaysia and from there to Doha.Officials of Qatar Airways refused to divulge details about the flyers citing privacyissues. Confirming the case of unruly passenger, a senior official of Central Industrial Security Force said: "On November 5, around 10 am, Qatar Airways flight QR-962 (Doha-Bali) was diverted to Chennai. They were sent to Kuala Lumpur by Batik Air flight 6019 for further travel to Doha. "Qatar Airways said in a statement, "In respect of passenger privacy, we do not comment on individual cases."
