Trump has claimed the pact has only served to strengthen the Iranian leadership, although Western allies and others strongly support the deal as a way to curb Iran’s nuclear program. “The people of Iran are finally acting against the brutal and corrupt Iranian regime,” Trump posted on Twitter on Tuesday.
