A teenager accused of shooting a boy in the face as he walked to school enjoyed playing a 'hyper realistic' computer game in which players shoot people, a court heard. The defendant would also speak to a friend of a 'plan' to shoot the boy, but the friend did not believe he was being serious, Ipswich Crown Court was told. The accused later told the friend 'tomorrow I'm going to do the plan', the boy told police. 'Of course I didn't believe him as I didn't believe him the last years he's talked about it,' the friend said. He said: 'He started saying 'I'm going to shoot (the boy)', just out of the blue.'
