TAGUM CITY, DAVAO DEL NORTE –– Amid the raging controversy involving the Kapa Community Ministry International Inc. and other questionable get-rich-quick schemes, the operators of a company engaged in the same scam in Tagum City was reported to have fled with more than P200 million in investments from people they have duped. Tirador said the complainant, who is now under police protection, informed the police that the investors he represented all came from Tagum City. Tirador said the complainant has revealed that Questlink started its operation in Tagum only last June 1. The first “payout,” or the release of the 500-percent interest for the investment, would have been done next week. The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Davao del Norte is now preparing the affidavit of the complainant, according to Tirador.
