Hutt Hospital Childcare Centre staff faced allegations of mistreating children. Parents wanting to find out if their children were mistreated at a Hutt Valley daycare will have to wait longer. An investigation into the allegations about Hutt Hospital Childcare Centre had been due to be completed by Thursday but this has now been delayed with no end date confirmed. "We have appointed an independent investigator to look into complaints we received about Hutt Hospital Childcare Centre." The centre's licence was suspended till Thursday while the investigation was carried out with decisions on its future and licence status to follow.
